My husband and I know very well the monetary cost of adoption...we also know the endless treasures it has brought to our lives. I wish I could afford to do this service for everyone without charging them. I could not put a price on any of my 3 children and I know that everything we spent in the process of their adoptions was worth it, without measure. I keep this in mind as I provide my services to others. I spend countless hours on each letter and portfolio I create, and I really do endeavor to keep my prices as low as possible. As a matter of fact, I charge much less than other services that charge just for their time on the phone with you, before you even begin! My prices include all phone and e-mail consultation, as a part of the service. I have also seen some services that charge over $250 just to look at your portfolio and make suggestions, not implementing them and others that perform the same services as I do that charge nearly $500 or more, for the 1st 10 pages. I have actually broken down my time spent one one portfolio and I make much less than my teenage babysitter, per hour---but it is SO WORTH IT!
Your expenses for my services can be applied towards your ADOPTION TAX CREDIT on your taxes.
Portfolios & Birthmother Letter Pricing~
All prices include all layout, design, photo uploads, sending of proofs, revisions prior to final approval by the client and an e-mail high resolution copy of each page, as well as a CD to be mailed to you so that you may have as few or many copies as you like by your favorite local printer.
Birthmother Letters~
One, two-sided Birthmother Letter~$150
**A deposit of $75 must be received before any proofs will be sent
Portfolios~
UP TO 10 pages (a page is one sided--a 2-sided page is considered 2 pages)~$385 (inc. cover page and Birthmother letter, if you need them, as part of the "up to 10")
Pages BEYOND the 1st 10- $36 each (I have discounted these pages because you are investing in more than 10 pages)
**A deposit of $200 must be received before any proofs will be sent
As so much of my time and work goes into each page~ All deposits are non-refundable once any pages have been sent, via e-mail, as PROOFS.
Payments can be made by check, money order or Paypal
**ALL FINAL FEES are due within 7 days of completion of your portfolio.
($6 fee for paypal payments up to $200 to cover their charges for to me to request $...another $6 fee for every, up to $200 over the initial $200, again to cover their request/payment fees)
*****There will be a $40 fee --for my worbook--to anyone who has received their e-mailed workbook and before beginning the portfolio/letter chooses to do their's "on their own"--as the worbook includes tips, page suggestions, questions for different topics to get you started and is there as a service to MY clients.
